Vedic Maths

Help & support

Answers to common questions about the Vedic Maths app. We welcome any feedback to help us improve it.

Which concepts can I use?

All of them. Every lesson and practice is open from the start. The tests unlock in order: pass a test (8 or more correct out of 10) to unlock the next one.

How do I earn stars?

1 star for 8 out of 10, 2 stars for 9 out of 10, and 3 stars for 10 out of 10 within the target time shown on the test. Your best result is always kept.

How does the streak work?

Take a test or a Daily Challenge on any day to keep your streak going. Miss a whole day and it starts again from 1.

What is the Daily Challenge?

10 timed questions mixed from the concepts you have passed (at least 1 star). Play as often as you like — every go has new questions, and your best score of the day counts.

What is the difference between Practise and Test?

Practise lets you take your time, use hints and see the answer. The test is timed, has no hints and decides your stars.

Why are there adverts?

Adverts keep Vedic Maths free. You will see at most one every 10 minutes, and only between activities — never in the middle of a lesson, practice or test. The adverts are not personalised, unless you allow tracking on iPhone or iPad.

Can I turn the sounds or vibration off?

Yes. In the app's Settings there are separate switches for "Sound effects" and "Vibration". Sounds are also silent when your device is on silent.

Will my progress move to a new phone or tablet?

Not at the moment. Progress is saved only on the device you use, and deleting the app deletes your progress too. If there is enough demand for this feature, we will add it — so let us know if you would like it!

How do I delete my data?

In the app, go to Settings → Reset progress. Deleting the app also removes all of its data. See the privacy policy for more.
